What are your shipping and return policies? Shipping Policy: We ship by FedEx according to the shipping method that you request. We ship only within the U.S. We normally notify you within 24 hours of your purchase status. If we are out of stock of a particular item, we will notify you of this and not charge you. We do not ship items over the weekend so that we minimize the time in transit. So if you place an order that would wait over a weekend, we will instead ship it on the next Monday. Return Policy: Most of the time, our pies arrive without a problem. However, pies are fragile…some more than others. Nut pies tend to ship very well. We pack each box by hand and take a lot of care to ensure that our pies arrive intact. We will gladly accept returns on crushed items and send a replacement. If the box is crushed when you get it, do not accept the package. Do you offer shipping insurance? Our shipments are insured against damage at no extra cost to you. Pies are shipped with no signature needed. If you need to verify receipt, please email Mom's requesting signature verification. What happens if I provide an incorrect shipping address? If this happens, FedEx must correct your shipping destination. We pass a $15 fee onto you if this was your error and it was not caught before your item was shipped. My package arrived late. Can I get a refund for my shipping fees? We can only offer a limited guarantee for Overnight shipments if FedEx fails to deliver your package on time. This offer excludes acts of God such as weather and high seasonal shipping volume periods such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes, we use 256-bit encryption to protect your checkout data. Orders are securely handled by Google Checkout. Your privacy is very important to us. We use your information only for processing payment. We will not sell, rent, or share your information with others. There is an expiration date on the label. However, if you refrigerate or freeze your pie upon arrival, your pie will last much longer. Mom does not use preservatives. How big are the pies and breads? The pies are 9 inches in diameter and weigh 2 to 2.5 lbs depending on type. The breads are 8 inches long. Yes, there are several seasonal pies we make which appear on our website when available. Additionally, each of our store locations make their own specialty items such as cream pies, cookies, cakes, and quiches. I am ordering a large number of pies for my office. What should I do? You can only order up to 18 items on the website. Please call us at 703-471-6266 if you wish to place a larger order. |
